LiveContainer guide: run many sideloaded apps from a single certificate
LiveContainer lets you run multiple IPAs inside one signed container app. Learn what it does, which certificates support it and how to set it up on iPhone.

LiveContainer is a clever open-source app: instead of installing each sideloaded app separately, it loads their IPAs *inside itself*. You sign LiveContainer once, then run as many apps as you like from it.
Why people use it
- Free Apple ID users hit the 3-app limit — LiveContainer counts as one app.
- Apps can be swapped without re-signing or reinstalling.
- Multiple instances of the same app (e.g. two accounts) are easy.
Certificate requirements
LiveContainer relies on extra entitlements and JIT-less execution tricks that not every certificate allows. On lemoncert, LiveContainer is only offered on packages that support it — the install screen shows a note when your certificate is eligible. If in doubt, choose Cert Pro.
Setup
- Get a certificate (an eligible package).
- From your lemoncert account, install LiveContainer signed with your certificate.
- Trust the developer in Settings → General → VPN & Device Management.
- Open LiveContainer, import the certificate when prompted (
.p12+.mobileprovision+ password), then add IPAs from Files. - Tap an app to launch it inside the container.
Some apps that need their own bundle identifier (push notifications, Sign in with Apple) work better installed normally with Feather.
